Song-My Idea

My song is simple and i decided to not give it the typical music video theme of the band singing and some kind of drama based film included. Instead i have chosen to take out the key words and film different images to go along with these words. I want it to be quite quirky and have a sense of humour.

Copyright letter

In order to use the track I deemed it necessary to ask the producers of my intended song whether i could or could not use their track, below is my copyright letter which i sent to the company.

Dear, The Maccabees,

I am an A-level media student and for my practical film making project it is a necessary for me to film and edit a music promotional video.

I am a huge admirer of your music and i am writing to you to ask for your permission to use 'First Love' as the music track in my video.

My work would be for educational and exam purposes only and would in no way be used for commercial gain or profit.
