To create this effect of three strips of colour i had to drag the clip down into my timeline onto video 1, 2 and 3. I then used the colour changer to creae the desired effect.

I used this clip in the part of the film where it says 'Symmetrical' for the this i dragged the clip into the timeline four times and used the crop toll to make them line up accordingly.

Above is how Premiere pro is layed out, to the left is the full list of my clips which i recorded seperately from my film footage. To the right is one of the ways in which i added effects to my film, video transitions is used to blend the clips with the use of 'fade to black, fade to white'

Above shows a small clippet of my timeline, as you can see i used video transitions between each of my clips so that they flowed better.

This is a screenshot of my final timeline.

This screenshot is from one of the parts in my film where a girl mimes the song, before i edited the brightness and contrast on this clip it looked dull and boring but after editing i think it achieved a much more effective result.

Under the effects controls of this clip I added a shadow onto this clip and highlighted the red of the clip to make it a bolder clip.

I used the color changer on this clip but firstly i cut the clip into five different parts and then used the colour changer on each individual clip to it flashed different colours on the part of the song where it says, 'so crit-i-ca-aa-aa-al'

This is the clip of the elderly couple featured towards the end of my film, it is where the music fades so that the couple can be heard talking again, i done this by dragging in the audio effects into my effects controls for this clip and then set a point where i wanted the music to decrease.
